Sweeney is chair of the Hunt County Government Affairs Committee, and he's organizing participation in Austin's "Hunt County Days" slated for March 2013.
Topics in Dr. Sweeney's presentation included Smart Growth for the county, public and higher education needs, transporation concerns, and general recommendations that his committee would make and/or has made in the past to the Texas legislature.
