The Rotary Year started July 1 and we received the new
District Governor Larry Webb on his first day of taking on his
duties. He spoke to our members with an inspiring message
that we as Rotarians influence and do good in the world.  We impact
the world through our humanitarian involvement in six specific areas
such as Health, Economic Development, Water and Sanitation, Peace
and Conflict resolutions, Basic Education and Literacy and worldwide
eradication of Polio with a 99.9% success rate and goal of achieving
a 100% eradication of polio by 2020 or sooner.  His message continued
to make us proud to be Rotarians and that we are a gift
to the world, our community and our clubs and he encouraged us to
continue to give to the Rotary Foundation; the engine which drives
the 34,000 clubs worldwide, the 66 clubs of our District and our club
specifically. Rotarians make a difference and we continue to live
by the Motto "service above self". Great things happen when people get
involved.  Let's light up Rotary.
