Commerce Rotary welcomes new member Dr. Maria Hinojosa

Shortly after noon on Wednesday, September 26th, 2012, Rotary president Dr. LaVelle Hendricks called Dr. Hinojosa and her sponsor, Ladonna Patterson, up to the front of the room for the induction ceremony.
The meeting was also marked by the return of Texas A&M University-Commerce interim Provost, Dr. Gary Peer as the distinguished speaker. Dr. Peer is also president-elect of his club at Stephenville, TX. 
His presentation included personal stories, Mark Twain-isms, and the pleasant surprise he met with upon realizing how healthy the Commerce Rotary Club has become in terms of membership since his last visit.
